Jeromes, Gilbert, Grant & Co., Bristol, Conn., C. 1839, 30-hour brass movement time/strike mahogany flat front (not beveled or OG) shelf clock.
CONDITION:
Mahogany veneered case in original finish with some chips on the outer flat banding. Original painted tablet with some loss. Upper dial glass is original. Original brass dial with wear to the numbers at the winding arbors. Clean label inside case. Original square weights. Only a few of this model are known, one in Bristol (ACWM) museum collection. Ht. 25"
